Medical Illustrator

Duties and Responsibilities: A medical illustrator is a professional artist who has been trained and has advanced education in medicine, science, art, and design. They work alongside with doctors, physician or other people in the medical field in order to create, illustrate, or draw complex images relating to health. They may also create animations for doctors,  patients, or for public use in order to offer a visual aid alongside pieces of information.
Salary: The average salary is at about 62K.
Education: In college classes involving design, drawing, art, or animation should be taken as much as possible. At the same time classes such as biology, zoology, or other science courses should be taken as well. In general, a bachelor's degree with a major in art and a minor in biological science is recommended, or a major in science with a minor in art.

Reflection: I would not want to be a medical illustrator. The job title does seem interesting, and what they do actually sounds like fun. But i am not much of an artist, i do enjoy designing, but i would rather design other things such as logos, rather than designing or animating body parts.
