Class Evaluation 1.  Some things i enjoyed about the class was the peacefulness and quietness of the class. It was not rowdy or out of control like may other classes were. Also, the emphasis of being prompted to choose the right was good as well. Lastly, i enjoyed the teacher himself as well as the song played at the very end. 2. One thing i did not like about the class was the pace as well as the actual things were doing in class. I feel as if what were doing such as creating spreadsheets and word documents are too basic. Also there is a lack of communication with others, that other classes do have.  3. Some recommendations is to add new things to the curriculum. Going into second semester, most of us already know how to tape and create post, why not start exploring additional computer programs that most kids are not aware as to how to use. When you tell one lie it leads to another Paul Hatch Part of being a CTR person is to always be honest. At first a single lie may not seem like much but the consequences are quite serious. Lying is a bad habit and bad habits equal bad results. One lie will eventually lead to two and then three and it keeps going on and going. The reason for this is that one lie has to be covered up and so a new lie is created so then that lie has to cover up the previous and so on. Eventually all the lies will become tangles up and you will forget which one is which. Also it is possible to mix the truth from lies and you start to forget what is real and what is not. Other consequences may arrive depending on how big the lie is, you may become sleep deprive or you will not be able to think straight. Patrick Kearon  In the story given by Patrick, he is visiting a campsite in the desert. He decides to go out for a walk and do a little exploring. His parents have repeatedly told him to always wear shoes, but Patrick decided to be a little rebellious and just put on flip flops. Well Patrick went on his walk and few minutes inn he felt a sharp pain in his foot. He looked down and realized he had just been stung by a scorpion. A sharp pain quickly fills his leg and he instantly cries for help and his parent came rushing to the scene of the accident. After realizing what has happen, they rush Patrick to the hospital, which was about a 2 hour drive. The whole way over there, Patrick felt as if he were dying. Once they reach the hospital they were glad and relief too find out the sting of the scorpion was not deadly or cause any real harm. after 24 hours the pain of the scorpion went away, but Patrick learned a valuable lesson. “Always do Right” -Mark Twain This quote goes back to our original motto Choose the Right. It is very important to always choose the good path because it will never lead you down. Always doing right is a guaranteed way to reach success in your life. Choosing the right removes any negative influences or thoughts that may have other wise lead you down a bad path. By doing good you are left with positive characteristic values such as honesty, integrity, and respect. People will view as these thing and thus form better relationships with you and you will be more trustworthy. Going back to a previous quote, you can not do good and feel bad, it is not possible. The reason being this is that by always choosing to do good, you are never left with any guilt or bad feelings of any form so are always left with good thoughts thus making you  a happy person. Always doing good also leaves you with a good label and name, when people hear your name they will be happy and glad to know you. An ex

Numerous deadly events occurred such as the bomb on Pearl Harbor which occurred on December 7, 1941. The bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima took place in 1945. The first question can people trust me, is very pivotal as trust plays in a big role in how relationships with others are form. Trust is important as without it we will not be forming a bond with others. By having a bond and a strong relationship then, you and the other person can grow whether it be in business or in another aspect. By doing your very best you are guaranteeing the best possible outcome you can deliver. Giving it your all will always give you the best results and the best chance of being a proud and successful individual.  The final question is just as important to leading a good life. It is so important that it is even stated in the bible itself. By treating other in a kind way then they will treat you kind as well.

Challenges Teen Face Today Today many teens face various challenges such as suicidal thought, internet addiction, depression, self esteem issues, several health issues as well as bullying.   I myself am dealing with problems mainly concerning school. My grades are well kept across all my classes but it can be hard from time to time and a bit stressful to get everything done and completed. Being a CTR person can you help steer clear of various obstacles such as those involving drugs or intercourse. If you are a ctr person then you will take things into action and know what is right and what is wrong. To help other teens you can lend a ear or a helping hand. Something as simple as listening can have a positive impact on the person being affected.  You can offer advice as well or be understanding to individual in which you are talking to. The reason behind this is that being kind is what fuels the ctr person inside you. By being kind, it leads you to choosing the right, which is the key to having a successful life. By being kind, you open yourself to the warmth of others, and other individuals will respect your character and your actions. Also by being kind it will open up new friendships and contacts, which in turn will leave you with new opportunities to be successful, grow, and prosper in life. Kindness in general will naturally bring kindness back to you. Thanksgiving Week Over the thanksgiving break i did not do much. The first two days of the break, I spent them on a trip in Lee Vining. I experience nature and the earth to its fullest extent, and it was a breathtaking experience. I did not meet anyone new over the break, besides the people on the trip, since i did not go out. One show i did watch over the break was Prison Break. I discovered the show over the break, got hooked, and heavily watched it for the remainder of the break.  I did not watch any sport events over the break as there was not much on. My whole break was CTR experience, i visited church and helped my family out. I began reading a part of a book over the weekend. In class i read a short snippet of Walden, and while i was on break i found the full version of the book and so i read the beginning part of it. I did a low of homework over the weekend, i spent most of Thursday through Sunday doing homework, filling out sheets, and reading textbooks. On Sunday I met wit

But that is a false misconception, as winning is not in fact everything. It is much more important in choosing the right than to win. If you win by cheating there will be no honor for you. Now, if you win something by working hard and striving for your best, well there is honor in that and so people will begin to respect you. Honesty is the Best Policy Mark Twain Honesty is in fact the best policy. The reason for this being is that being honest is the best way to go. If you lie you will be hurting other people. Even if you lie to yourself, you will essentially just be hurting yourself and doing no real good. Honesty is choosing the right, and by being honest you can never go wrong as it is the right thing to do. By telling the truth you will not get caught up in lies and you will not have to remember things. Even if it means hurting another person, it always best to be honest as the other person will appreciate what you said. By just lying it make yourself better, you are not helping yourself or the other person. Being honest always makes you feel good as you are not holding back the truth. Being honest fills you with integrity. Veterans Day Veterans day is a public holiday that is celebrated every year on the anniversary of the end of World War 1. It is to celebrate any veterans or victims of war The holiday occurs on November 11. The purpose is to honor all of those that have serve and to show our gratitude to them It is an important holiday because Veterans are the one out there in war fighting for our freedom and our safety. It is important to thank them as they are risking their lives in order to protect ours. There are several ways, anything from saying thanks to them to writing a letter or participating in those events such as parades that honor veterans. By following these 3 special advices, we are establishing ourselves to have integrity. What is integrity, integrity is when you live your life choosing to do the right. The first key is telling us to have the courage to say no. This key is very important as by saying no we can limit ourselves to doing bad things. He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. This is a very wise proverb and its statement is very true. The proverb is basically telling to watch who we hang out and who we choose our friends. Then people who we surround ourselves with have an influence as to how we are. Not only does it affect the way we are but it also affects the way other people view us. If we choose to be with people who work hard and are great and choose the right, then we ourselves will become like them. In a way they are rubbing themselves on us. Same thing goes the other way around. If we surround ourselves with people who are up to no good then we will begin doing bad and illegal things. If we surround ourselves with good people than others will begin to view us as so. People will look at our friends and judge us based on them, if they are good individuals then we will be seen good and if they are bad individuals then we will be seen as bad. In the quote wise

Vanguard Vikings versus Gainesville Tornadoes In the very short film it told the story of a basketball team which had zero support base. Now the reason why no one from their school attended and the reason why parents did not attend is because the kids were part of a juvenile detention center. The other prisoners were not able to leave the prison which meant no fans. During one of the Gainesville game they had an unsuspected surprise. When they had their match against Vanguard HIgh, Vanguard felt it was not fair that the other school had no fans or support. So what Vanguard did is that they asked their own fans to come and support the rival school and they did. They even had their own cheerleaders go on and cheer Gainesville. I think it is great what Vanguard did for this school and it is great that they were able to help them. The players left testimonies saying it was an unforgettable memory and I believe it was. It was a great act of kindness.  

“The best recreation is to do good” William Penn William Penn is right about the words he stated. Recreation is something you do to relax yourself and make you feel better. Examples of recreation could be things such as swimming or playing sports. Well what better way to make yourself feel better than by choosing to do good. There is no negative outcomes when you choose to do the right thing. So by choosing to do good as your recreational activity, you will feel better than ever before. If your recreational activity is something bad such as smoking or drugs or something to that effect, than you will feel bad. This all traces back to choosing to do the right and always opting out for the good instead of evil. Penn was a Quaker, an early religion in America, and his religion often stressed the importance of good such as banning slavery and equality for women, so it makes sense that someone like William Penn would come up with this quote. Basically it is telling us that if we choose the right, it is always going to be right no matter what. Choosing the right will have positive outcomes for us and those around us. On the other hand if we choose the wrong negative outcomes will occur for us. Choosing to do the right thing should always be a number one choice, no matter what the circumstances around you are. If no one is choosing to do the right, you should set an example and lead the way by doing something good. This could be sticking up for someone who is in trouble. If everyone is doing something bad it does not mean you should jump in and join them as well. Wrong is wrong no matter what is going on around you or the people who surround you. Peter is telling us to never lose track of our main goal in life. Whatever we want most in life we should chase it and go after it. Sure there may be other obstacles along the way but we have to stay determine. Sometimes things will come up where we do not want to continue our goal or we will shrug it off and put off till later. School Homecoming A school homecoming is an event that partakes in school that involves speeches, parades, music, dances, and a football game in order to unite students with one another and have an increase the students pride in the school. Schools often host homecoming games as it is the final game of a football team and it is when they come "home", this is where the name is derived from. School spirit highly rises during homecoming. There has been multiple examples in which parades and floats are design by colleges to promote homecoming and usually the whole town participate and there is thousands of students there as well. Proper etiquette for homecoming involves wearing a suit and tie and for girls wearing a cocktail dress. Schools may specify the dress code but if not, the proper attire is usually semi-formal. Even if everyone else is against you and you may be standing alone, it is always best to stand up for what is right. You cant do right and feel wrong, it is impossible. You have to build up the courage and choose right from wrong. By doing this you will also make a statement and show an example to all the other people that choose wrong. By seeing you up there doing good, they may want to convert into doing good just like you. Just because everyone is for something does not mean it something good. Also, just because everyone is against something does not mean it is bad. You know right from wrong so it our duty to always choose the right.
