This quote is similar to the one given last week. Having a good name can be given to you To have a good name for yourself you must be have good manners and behave well. A good name can also be achieve by going to a good places such as churches. Also it is better to avoid negative places that may other wise cause your name to be tainted such parties. Also avoid any negative influences or activities such as drugs as those can have a harmful effect as well. A name is always presented first so it must be good. People will judge you by your name alone before they even meet you, which is why it must always be kept positive, Choosing the right will lead to your name being good while choosing the wrong will lead your name to be bad. Examples of aq good and bad name can be see all the time, even within ourselves. If we are known as a person who likes to party and go out, when you go to church or other places as such, you will be judge based on your actions and your name. So if a man has been to jail. there name will forever be tainted and it will be much harder for them to be accepted into society because they decided to choose the wrong which lead to a bad name.

“A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder” Thomas Carlyle A man with no goal in life will get nowhere. A boat uses a rudder to guide itself and the people on board. Without a rudder the boat will have no direction and no guidance. Even if it wanted to set out somewhere, it would not be able too. A person without any goals in life will be the same way. Without any goals a person will have no direction in their life. They have no guidance and will not know if they are on the path to success. They will be un aware if their actions are causing them any harm or good. A goal is more than just a goal. It is a path set for us, a path that will guarantee us success. By not having a goal we would not know where to go. We will not know what actions we need to take. Ultimately, we will be lost with our lives. Lost in the world with no real sense as to what we are doing. We will be alive but not living.
