Mechanical Engineering

Duties and Responsibilities: A mechanical engineer has to be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. They research design evaluate and install mechanical systems products and equipment. They may also investigate equipment failures and help the fix the problem. They develop and test models of alternative designs. They will assist drafters as well as design new modifications for  a mechanical system.

Salary: 58k-150k

Education: A bachelor degree is the minimum requirement. Employers will also look to see if you have been part of an engineering program. Course and skills involving advance mathematics, design, chemistry, and physics is required as well.

Demand: There are 1,050 annual openings. The growth in California is 12%

Reflection: I may highly consider to join this occupation. It involves highly around skills i specialize in such as mathematics and computers. The job seems interesting and i enjoy the fact that i could build, design, and create things such as cars or robots. I love to create things, especially if it involves wires and moving parts. The pay is high and it is a job i may consider in the future.
