Wrong will always be wrong no matter what the circumstances. Even if everyone is doing something, it can still be a bad thing. It is always best to choose to do good then to choose to do bad. It is very important to always choose the good path because it will never lead you down. Always doing right is a guaranteed way to reach success in your life. Choosing the right removes any negative influences or thoughts that may have other wise lead you down a bad path. By being around those who always choose wrong, even if it is everyone, you will only be putting yourself down as well. By doing good you are left with positive characteristic values such as honesty, integrity, and respect. People will view as these thing and thus form better relationships with you and you will be more trustworthy. Going back to a previous quote that we had a while back, you can not do good and feel bad, it is not possible. The reason being this is that by always choosing to do good, you are never left with any guilt or bad feelings of any form so are always left with good thoughts thus making you a happy person. This quote applies here because, although everyone is doing something bad and if you join them, after everything is done you will feel bad about yourself too. Always doing good also leaves you with a good label, name and attitude. A popular idiom to go with this quote is, if your friends jump of a bridge will you jump with them?, and it is basically saying will you follow the crowd. The answer is, if they are doing bad then no.

“A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder” Thomas Carlyle A man with no goal in life will get nowhere. A boat uses a rudder to guide itself and the people on board. Without a rudder the boat will have no direction and no guidance. Even if it wanted to set out somewhere, it would not be able too. A person without any goals in life will be the same way. Without any goals a person will have no direction in their life. They have no guidance and will not know if they are on the path to success. They will be un aware if their actions are causing them any harm or good. A goal is more than just a goal. It is a path set for us, a path that will guarantee us success. By not having a goal we would not know where to go. We will not know what actions we need to take. Ultimately, we will be lost with our lives. Lost in the world with no real sense as to what we are doing. We will be alive but not living.
